Trash Catcher (Unreal Arcade)
A side-view arcade mini-game inspired by Egg Catcher: catch falling trash with a controllable bin to maximise score before the timer ends. Built end-to-end solo, including Blueprint gameplay logic, UMG UI, environment setup, VFX polish, optimisation and testing.

What I built
- Implemented the full gameplay loop: spawning logic, movement, collision, scoring, and timed session flow.
- Designed and built UI with UMG (menus, timer, HUD, score display, end-of-round results).
- Created a grounded forest atmosphere using lighting, ambience, and Niagara particles for subtle motion and depth.
- Tuned speed/difficulty feel for accessibility while keeping the loop skill-based and replayable.
- Handled solo pipeline ownership: design, implementation, visual polish, optimisation, and playtesting.
